The album cover is an edited image of a limo interior, I wanted it to look like cooked crab or lobster.

Chitin was the first song I wrote to get back to writing during this most recent phase of releases. Out of all the songs released until now, Chitin is the only one written in 2026, I believe. I went through a period of self-doubt with my lyrics, but a part of me has always known I’m nice with it. Chitin is my way of reminding myself my flows are top-tier, and I am really proud of the result.

This is one of my songs where it comes on and I have to go bar-for-bar with the recording lol. Some tough stuff on here, hot bars, dope flexes, vulnerability and realness. It has a lot going for it, and I hope you check out the lyrics breakdown to really relish the dish.

Chitin is all about being on a level or a wave that few are privileged or dedicated enough to participate in. I flex my creative muscles to make subtle connections, switch up the flows and rhyme schemes, and maintain a rhythm that matches the ice in my veins.
